About the facilitator / teacher
Schirin has been practicing and teaching yoga since 1998. She was a co-founder of Oslo’s first ashtanga yoga studio.
In 2005 her Yoga book for beginners were published. 2006 the first Yoga retreat in Costa Brava took place.
She has meditated for several years and done several vipassana retreats of 10 days in silence. She has had ashtanga teachers as John Scott and Dena Kingsberg over years and keep her ashtanga selfpractice wherever she is, to stay grounded and continuous in flow with life.

If you fly from Oslo, it is advisable to book flight early because of autumn holiday. Nearby airport: Barcelona. Or Girona. Bus to St.Feliu de Guixol 1.5 - 2.5 hours.

The area around: You can walk to St. Feliu in 15 min with nice small shops, beach and cafes.
What to bring: Bring your own yoga mat, a shawl, bikini/ swim suit, comfortable clothes and something nice for dinner.
Meals: 3 meals a day in the restaurant with charming waiters and sea view. Compose your own plate from the buffet with a variety of fruit, salads, fish or meat. Or take your food to your room for a quiet meal.
Weather: This is a beautiful place with average temperatur around 20-25 degrees.
We start soft and slow. Then we bring in some more dynamic movements with standing postures, balance, deeper stretches. In the end there is time for rest which restores your energy. We focus on breath and connection with yourself and you do as much as you are comfortable with. Suitable for all levels.
During a week away from daily routines we have time to look at and feel into: What now? What would I like to let go off and what would I like to bring into my life for the coming period?
We use movements to get in touch with our sensations, feelings and expression.
We write, contemplate a share so it becomes more clear and visible.
This is the structure for each day, except Wednesday 2 October when the whole day is free to enjoy the great place you are in and follow your own impuls.
